Early Life[]
Ryan was born on January 6, 1986 and was raised in Johnston, Rhode Island by his family. He lived with his mother, father, older half brother Paul and younger sister Brianna. He began his wrestling career when he was fourteen years old and continued with that for nine years until WWE contacted him.
Wrestling Career[]
Ryan made his WWE debut as a contestant on the fourth season of NXT, with his Pro being WWE Superstar Evan Bourne. His debut match was against Matt Magro and won. He would also face off in a handful of matches against Craig Maurer.
His run on NXT would only last for three weeks as he was the first Rookie to be eliminated from the competition.
Ryan still competes in FCW, where he is the reigning Florida Heavyweight Champion after he won the title off of Mason Ryan.
Personal Life[]
Ryan is the younger half brother of Jersey Shore star DJ Pauly D, with whom he's close to. He's also appeared on Jersey Shore in a couple of episodes of the second season when the season was shot in Florida.
