Early Life[]
Chelsea is the younger sister of Dan Wheldon, and the two were really close to each other, despite a nine year age difference between the two.
Life[]
When Chelsea was growing up in England, she was just a normal girl, trying to get through life each and every day. She was an average girl when it came to her education, which she didn't get to finish since she ended up dropping out of high shcool in England at fifteen years of age.
Chelsea ended up moving to St. Petersburg, Florida along with Dan in 1999 because Dan wanted his sister with him. After moving to Florida, Chelsea ended up supporting Dan through his racing career and ended up being a fan of her brother in the process. She also got the opportunity to stand in Victory Lane with Dan after winning the 2011 Indianapolis 500.
When Chelsea heard of Dan's death in October 16, 2011, Chelsea was really devestated and haven't been herself since the incident, despite her friends and members of the IZO IndyCar Series trying to cheer her up.
Personal Life[]
Chelsea is the younger sister of Dan Wheldon. The two were really close to each other before Dan's death.It was Dan who had Chelsea and Scott meet at an Indy race in 2007. They ended up being friends after that race. They went out on casual dinners for a bit, then at the season finale of the 2007 season, Scott asked Chelsea out, which she accepted.
On December 30, 2011, it was confirmed on Chelsea's Twitter that Scott and Chelsea were engaged. On April 6, 2012, Chelsea and Scott held a small wedding in St. Petersburg, Florida and got married.
It was also confirmed on December 30, 2011 on Chelsea's Twitter account that she was currently pregnant with her and Scott's first child.
